Fat Chance released the 10th Anniversary in 1992 to commemorate their 10th year in business. Built with a custom designed True Temper OX3 tubeset with custom made Paragon Machine Works dropouts and the new lightweight and highly responsive Big One Inch fork the 10th Anniversary was about as light a steel bike as could made at the time. Each bike came with a custom anodized Titanium headtube badge providing the number of the frame. Production was limited to around 180 frame for that one year only. This particular frame is a Small-Medium which was slotted in between the two sizes.
Top tube : 21.5" c2c Seat tube : 14.5" c2c
I have the original build card signed by all the Fat Chance employees who made the frame as well as the original sales receipt from the bike shop that sold it back in 1992!!
Frame is in nice shape, with a few chips on the top tube and the seat and chain stays, cable rub on the head tube and most noticeably the chainsuck on the drive side. No dings, no dents, no significant damage beyond the paint damage described earlier and documented in the photos.
The build is all M900 XTR and is 100% fully functional, with some cosmetic blemishes. Stem is a control tech (120mm long), bar is a full length Hyperlite, post is a Syncros 350mm with a Flite seat. The only small upgrades are the 3DV Ringle QRs and seat post collar and a matching 3DV American Classic cage. Tires are nearly new and in mint condition Specialized Ground Control and Ground Control Extreme, both are wire bead.
