This bike is a dream build! Great gravel bike for all day adventures. I bought it from the original owner who immediately decided to sell it because of Covid. I absolutely love this bike! Here’s the deal, I rode it a couple hundred miles and decided to hook my 1 year old and her trailer up to it. That’s when things didn’t work out unfortunately. The tolerances are a bit tight on the brake rotor and I guess the trailer isn’t what it was made for. It’s a small rub, but I would rather sell it before it is more than a paint rub. My bike is my car so this one just won’t do.
Last frame Adam Sklar finished for 2019. Build was complete early this year.
ENVE gravel fork and gravel bars 48cm. (I put the bars on just before I noticed the rub, they are brand new) ENVE water bottle holders.
Paul components Klamper brakes front and rear. Sram 160mm 6 bolt rotors.
Paul components 70mm stem. (New)
Campandgoslow snake bar tape. (New with bars)
White industries crankset and bottom bracket with 40t installed. Will include an extra 38t and 40t. White industries headset.
Industry Nine trail s wheelset with hydra rear hub. Straight pull steel 28 spoke. The steel spokes are more supple than the aluminum and very little more weight. Shimano HG style freehub.
Sram Force 1 derailleur with force brake levers. 1x11 gearing. Cassette isn’t anything fancy, low end Sram but shifts great. It’s the only part that could really be upgraded.
PNW Rainier dropper post. 27.2 internal routing with drop bar lever.
Ultradynamico Rose race up front with Cava race rear. Will include an extra Rose as a spare front or dirt rear. Also some 27.5x2.1 thunderburt tires, all in great shape. Also some Rene Herse switchback hill’s for the road.
The asking price is a few hundred less than the price of the frame, fork and wheelset. Adam is not taking orders at this time and his wait list was about a year before he closed it. Other than the little paint rub from the rotor this frame is in like new condition. I hate to sell it but it just won’t work for me. I have posted a picture of the geo chart. The build was for a 6’1” 180lb with 32” inseam. I have a 35.5” inseam and am 6’1” and other than some extra seatpost, the bike is a good fit still. I’d recommend someone with maybe 31”-34” inseam for an ideal fit. It is made to be a bit upright for all day comfort as well as the lower seat tube for the dropper post. I didn’t run the dropper, it is like new. Please no super lowball offers, but I am open to reasonable offers.
Thanks for looking and feel free to contact me with any questions!
There is also a bit of paint rubbed off on the inside of the chainstay from careless removal of the rear wheel, there when I got it. It’s a tight fit though so it can happen if not careful. Super tight clearance with the swoopy Sklar tubing. Just want to be honest about everything on the bike!
BXB (bags by bird) Teardrop bag in heather x-pac with yellow x-pac liner could be included if the deal is right.
Bike will be packaged by local shop and ship via bike flights. I will get it to them ASAP but it might take a few days to get out.
