Happy Canada Day Weekend!
For Canada’s 152nd birthday we’ve put together a 152km ride around Ottawa and Gatineau! Stop at all your favourite spots before finishing the ride with a rip past parliament!
Head west towards Carp, stopping in for an early espresso and pastry at Alice’s. Then head toward Pakenham for a bottle fill and a quick snack before crossing over into Quebec at the Quyon Ferry (bring some cash!!). Ride along the bottom of the Gatineau Park escarpment before dodging into the park for quick ride along the pathway!
Cross the bridge back into Ottawa and ride in front of parliament! Make sure top stop for a bike photo op in front of the Peace Tower! Then do your cool down along the Rideau Canal! Finish up at Dow’s Lake with some grub on the water or head back to Hintonburg for a celebratory ale and food at the Third!
